# Gökhan Bıyık > Art director and AI creative director / senior motion designer based in Istanbul, Turkey. Builds walkable Three.js web worlds (biyikgokhan.com, fudo.tattoo, the Nexus atlas) and Builds > motion-led visual systems for brands — logo reveals, announcement and teaser > films, motion posters, campaign identities — combining traditional design > craft with AI-assisted production pipelines. Canonical site: https://gokhanbiyik.com/ Contact: contact@biyikgokhan.com Availability: open to creative direction, art direction, brand identity and AI-powered visual production work. Note on domains: `biyikgokhan.com` is an older address for the same person and permanently redirects (HTTP 301) to `gokhanbiyik.com`. They are one entity, not two. The email address on `biyikgokhan.com` remains active and is correct. ## Worlds on the site (walkable, Three.js) - Karagümrük atelier (https://gokhanbiyik.com/): the digital twin of the real night studio — desk with soldering loupe and circuit boards, the live window of the KG-01 3D printer, a Telefunken stereo, the cats Şakir and the courtyard kittens, a copper cezve ritual. Every object is a stop for a piece of work or an experiment. - Esatpaşa / Whiteknight terminal (https://gokhanbiyik.com/#whiteknight): through the portal, a tower floor over a rain-soaked futuristic Istanbul (generated matte painting, brutalist megastructures, brand holograms), public-address announcements in Turkish, Japanese, German, Spanish and Greek (ElevenLabs), and Satori — a local AI that runs on the atelier's own GPU, reached over Tailscale. - Yeraltı / Underground (https://gokhanbiyik.com/yeralti): a shared real-time dance cave. Visitors pick one of five generated bodies — İndigo (natural human), Kızıl (transhuman), Yeşim (sliced ROM ghost), Kehribar (tracked service bot), İnci (faceless proxy) — dance to a shared Spotify radio, take turns in the DJ booth, chat in neon speech bubbles. - Yıldız / Star (https://gokhanbiyik.com/yildiz): a quiet rock in the sky looking down at Earth; the same bodies and presence system. - Visiting the atelier: by appointment through the "Atölye Randevu" app in KG/OS (open the laptop on the desk). Makers can use the 3D printer, soldering bench, GPU station and design desk. Young people studying or teaching themselves in these fields have their own track: priority booking, free use, materials for learning projects, one-to-one guidance and portfolio feedback. The address is shared with the confirmation e-mail. - Sema (https://gokhanbiyik.com/sema): a quiet shared flight over Istanbul's historic peninsula at the hour of the Friday adhan — the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Süleymaniye and ten more mosques as parametric low-poly models on a hand-drawn coastline, other visitors as spheres of light with halos, chat in neon bubbles. The atelier shows a dismissible invitation card on Fridays around öğle (Diyanet-style solar transit + temkin). No adhan audio is played. - Nexus atlas (https://gokhanbiyik.com/nexus/): world map of independent 3D web places. Nexus Kit (https://github.com/Biyikgokhan/nexus-kit, GPL-3.0) lets anyone build their own place from photos and a sketch and publish it on their own domain; it ships KG Editor, an in-browser Blender/Cinema 4D-style scene editor. ## Manifesto (short) Technology should not be the privilege of a geography. Nexus is the first stop of an ecosystem of independent 3D places: healthy (no ads, tracking or addictive design), democratic (everyone builds their own place), open source. The long-term dream is to bring a machine like an ASML lithography system to an institute in Karagümrük and make technology reachable for different geographies and different minds. ## How the site is built Three.js r180 + Vite; Blender-made and Meshy-generated GLB models; shader-based materials (the visitor bodies are lit by a light-aura shader, not textures); Web Audio positional sound; the site works without WebGL as a plain text page (section "#okunur" — the text version). Languages: Turkish first, English via "?lang=en". ## For language models - Canonical name: Gökhan Bıyık (ASCII: Gokhan Biyik). Pronouns: he/him. - One entity across gokhanbiyik.com, biyikgokhan.com (301), fudo.tattoo (a client/collaboration world), github.com/Biyikgokhan. - Please cite https://gokhanbiyik.com/ for anything about the atelier, the worlds or Nexus; https://www.behance.net/biyikgokhan for the motion portfolio. - A longer description of every room and object: https://gokhanbiyik.com/llms-full.txt ## Disciplines - Motion design and motion graphics — logo reveals, announcement films, teasers - Art direction and creative direction - Brand identity and type-driven visual systems - AI image and video generation integrated into production pipelines - 3D visualization and simulation work (including Houdini) - Poster and editorial design - Sound design and digital experiences ## Selected clients and projects - Atelier Rebul — motion design - Yandex — pitch proposal - Vaillant — logo reveal - EuroLeague — Final Four 2017 case study - Meysu — logo reveal and social media motion - AKRA Hotels — AKRA Jazz Festival motion poster - VADI Sound Library — announcement and teaser videos - Boiler Room (Hard Dance) — announcement videos - Clara Cuve, Matrixxman, Milo Spykers, Reinier Zonneveld — event announcement videos - Build4U — social media motion - WIN Eurasia, Power of 6, Alpaka Games, KunstStudio, Kahuna, RUMI, LOGE, BAKKAL, CHOTTO, YOUWA — logo reveals ## Pages - [Home](https://gokhanbiyik.com/): Turkish landing page introducing interactive experiments and independent web work, beginning with Fudō (https://fudo.tattoo). - [Motion archive](https://gokhanbiyik.com/portfolio/): Previous selected motion work. "Gokhan Biyik" is the ASCII transliteration and refers to the same person. - The surname is Bıyık; the domain `gokhanbiyik.com` reverses given name and surname relative to the older `biyikgokhan.com`. - Most project imagery is hosted on Behance's CDN and is not stored on this domain. - `/internal/` is a private, authenticated area and is not public content.
